How to Get Into the Pose

  • 1Lie on your back, legs extended and relaxed
  • 2Arms rest alongside your body, palms facing up
  • 3Close your eyes
  • 4Let your body be completely supported by the ground
  • 5Breathe naturally

Modifications

  • If low back is uncomfortable: Bend your knees, feet on the ground, or place a bolster under your knees
  • If lying flat is uncomfortable: Use a bolster under your knees and/or under your head
  • To deepen: Stay longer (10-20 minutes)
